Ajay paid up without contesting the case.
In 2007 he was in controversy when a producer named Karan Ramsay of Om Films Company filed the suit against Ajay Devgan, the producer of All the Best, claiming that the script of Ajay’s movie was borrowed from Ramsay’s under-production film named Uncle Samjha Karo without his knowledge. Ramsay revealed that in 2007, Paritosh attempted to reclaim the copyright from him but could not do so as the IMPPA decided the case in Ramsay’s favour.
